The aim of LASER hair removal is to destroy the hair follicle so that the hair does not appear again. To achieve this result, a LASER capable of reaching the follicle is used. The light energy applied is absorbed by the melanin and is converted into heat, destroying the follicle without affecting the surrounding tissues.
Diode LASER platform developed with the same technology as our medical device primelase HR excellence. Thanks to its peak power of 2000W and its several wavelengths (755nm, 810nm, 940nm and 1060nm), elysion-pro makes it possible to treat all kinds of skin phototypes and any type of hair during the whole year.
The accurate identification of the skin phototype is one of the most important factors in order to achieve the best results in the minimum number of sessions. According to the Fitzpatrick scale, there are six different phototypes (I-VI). The fairest skins have a better capacity to accept a greater amount of energy with the least risk of undesired effects, while darker skin phototypes are the most highly limiting ones for certain types of emission.
That’s the reason why elysion-pro has been designed as a work platform that allows to choose different wavelengths in a single device, enabling the highly demanded versatility and precision.
755nm: effective on fair skins, enables to permanently remove the finest and less pigmented hair, including the residual hair of the last sessions.
810nm: indicated to work on all skin phototypes as well as all types of hair.
COMB (810+940+1060nm): guarantees maximum safety and efficacy in dark phototypes with strong and dense hair.
elysion-pro works using the selective photothermolysis principle. This consists in transmitting the LASER beam while affecting the melanin (which gives hair its color) and destroying the follicle without damaging the skin in the process.
elysion-pro works with the exclusive “crystal freeze” system. This is a cooling system based on TRT (thermal relaxation time), which is the time necessary for skin to recover its original temperature after the application of the LASER beam. This exclusive system works by maintaining a constant temperature of 6ºC at the tip of the handpiece, producing a pleasant sensation on the skin during hair removal.
